I just got a sales call from...AOL
Ooh, they are offering 60 days free access....

just when you got used to their disks bundled with every magazine youbuy and filling your mail box, now you get phonecalls from them...

I had a little fun with the sales rep and asked her if I could access all the free porno I heard about if I went on AOL...she stumbled on her scripted lines...poor thing...

smart thinking, if you answer a land phone line, then odds are better you use dialup!

as goes my reasoning.

Wonder what AOL's customer acquisition costs are these days?

I know back when they were at their peak growth rate they were spending around $200 per customer on average.

Heh....I'd love to know some customer acquisition costs for adult companies, but by the time you figure in the shave, the parties, the trials, etc, the math and data needed to calculate it would be brutal.

an auto-dailer doesn't determine between a landline and a cell

the very fact you type a single keystroke on any given day discredits everything you've ever typed....

most telemarkiting lists don't contain many cell numbers as they are typically generated from white pages.

Most predictive dialers use randomly selected numbers in sequence, they don't pull from the white pages. However, calling cell numbers is illegal in some states and most cell phone exchanges are removed from the possible sequences. :awinky:

yea that's what i meant :awinky:

anyway, the autodialer (computer) ive seen used a premade list, not randoms. cell phone calling for marketing purposes is indeed illegal in alot of states.

So, seriously, shut the fuck up, you're idiot who knows little more than dick about anything.

Your theories and any post you make just continue to show what an idiot you are...

skyboyy, you have pms?

i dont use autodialersbecause of legalities but ive seen some friends in the biz using lists for use in autodialing software to generate mortgage leads, and they dont use randoms, and they dont call known cell phones.

maybe you are just a nut.
