Around the turn of the century, after observing a subset of alcoholism referred to as "absinthism", and noting that heavy absinthe users had a propensity toward madness and suicide, by the second decade of this century it became banned in the Western world, unfairly lumped in with opiates, cocaine, and marijuana

to all mofo's who wanna get rid of me-
send me cases of it!
I promise to commit suicide eventually

The US version DOES NOT give the hallucination effects that the REAL one does.

it does...if you have half a bottle of red wine prior to the absinthe drinking
;-)

(lack of good food will help the "green fairy effect too"
;-)

I'm gonna try it today on Sue's blind aunt,
I'll let you know if she talks to people whoi aren't there afterwards

I think absinthe lacks wormwood alcohol in the US.Hence the unlikeliness of talking to people who aren't there , even with wine

I watched a stupid dvd called "Eurotrip" last night and they hit it.

Result a foul mouthed green fairy appeared lol

anyone here have access to this stuff that i can paypal money to for a bottle?

i tried it this past year, down in mardi gras - we ripped a couple of shots of it with sugar at 6:30. I walked back to where i was staying while all the convicts were shoveling the shit off bourbon street. needless to say, i enjoyed my first experience and would appreciate a bottle. :)

That's good. It also probably does not irreversibly kill brain cell the way real absinthe does...

All/any brain cell death is irreversible and all/any alcohol kills brain cells
