hows it hanging?
Remco, not a very good start to your Oprano Spamming campaign ...
I just visited your site, had a look around through the 'competition' - ie who was listed in the celebrity category. A few of the programs have long since closed down their celeb sites, 1 of them nicely replacing them all with self installing toolbars ...
So far i've clocked up an hour trying to get rid of multiple installs from one of your 'recommended' services and my homepage is still being set to http://www.spidersearch.com/. I'd say I've got at least another hour ahead of me - purely because I visited your site.
While i'm aware its difficult to keep track of who is listed and what they are doing, you not only didn't win any points with me - i'm fucking pissed off that i'm once again removing shit because other people can't be more selective in who they do business with.
The program doing this is adultcash.com, I sure hope you remove them immediately from your site ... otherwise fuck off and take your spyware supporting shit site somewhere else.

Cj i understand u got some issues with someone else, not me and no i am not spamming, please check ur books what spamming is and whats not, just using the signature the way 99% of the webmasters use it.
What if u went to ynot, netpond, sponsorslist or anyone else, u press it and u still got fucked up.......
We keep track of all sites, but certain sponsors like adultcash require one to signup to see the actual active urls, and it seems that they have made a few mistakes, will check it out now.
As goes for the site adultcash.com i will remove that, thanks for the info
Great board this is LMAO :headwall:

Sounds like my sorta guy ;-)
Welcome :)
Your post was a drive by spam - but you earn double points for 1) returning and 2) for removing the assholes who fucked up my friday
Normally I wouldn't bother surfing a site that was spammed here, but I really liked how you layed it out and the search function is awesome where it shows category and specific sites within a program in that category. I was clicking around categories thinking 'yeah this is cool' until I got hammered with crap from adultcash.
>but certain sponsors like adultcash require one to signup to see the actual active urls
that makes sense why I got redirected to the same site for several of their celebrity site url's ...
Thank you for responding & for removing the program! I'm still a bit scared to go back to your site though ... can you guarantee none of the other links will do this?
This is the kind of lost faith our surfers feel ... when you have a site advertised on your site which fucks with their computer, you aren't going to visit any of those sites in the chain again.
If you are promoting companies that mess with a surfers machine, especially without proper disclosure, make sure you are really finished with that surfer. Link lists need to be especially careful ... you have bookmark traffic, if you have SHIT in your links you'll lose the bookmarkers - more important now than they were a couple of years ago.
Any link list owners had any problems arise from what the listed sites do to your surfers?

Heheh, np CJ
I totally understand, we are sending emails out to every sponsor in the database to update all info and next monday we will verify over 8000 sites, in the past 2 months i allready removed over 1400 sites and over 400 sponsors, which contained irritating pops, self installing dialers, etc. Hard to maintain but we are monitoring the whole database 24/7.
My database is smaller then u will see on other webmaster resources, the original database had 1050 sponsors in it, i removed over 400 because they fook with the surfers.
:rokk: u rock, next time send a mail to remco@fuckingmoney.com though lol and i will fix it :)
:okthumb:
>>My database is smaller then u will see on other webmaster resources
that's good ... I don't want to see thousands of sponsors, only the good ones :okthumb:
good to see you are trying to keep up with it - that's more than most & I appreciate its a difficult task
Cool site :okthumb:
You will find lots of programs at oprano of extremely high standard to list in your resource :awinky:

:) thanks :)
I noticed some interesting programs on oprano, will try adding those later :)
Still trying to build in a "rate & review" option in my database but a big chance it will trigger sponsors sabotage other sponsors by giving them bad reviews and ratings...

I've noticed that since I've been using netscape almost all of the time, I've had no real problems with toolbars, etc.
I've been a diehard Netscape user for years but recently started using IE more because designers are too lazy to check their work in both browsers, but I'm now glad I'm back with Netscape 99% of my surfing time.
Between the junkmail filter on their email program to the lack of auto-installing bullshit and their popup blocker, I'm a very happy netscape user...probably the only remaining netscape user, but it's so nice to not have to worry about worms, toolbars and other bullshit associated with IE.
BTW, nice looking site remco :)

Thanks again :purpdance: :okthumb:
Used netscape once, think i am just to lazy to install it and run it...... Might give it a second chance though, IE gives me the creeps......
Last months score:
- 1 trojan
- 2 virusses (one in streaming video)
- 2 hijacks (belgium dip............ that one is extremely dangerous)

Actually, I read about a month ago when you said that so I downloaded Netscape and like it better than IE.
I think a lot of webmasters are turning back to netscape......i used it i until 99 then switched to IE...now i am back to netscape.....i like it MUCH better...

Not only the explorer should change, imho windows can blow up, some peeps just invented the first 64 bit virus which will kill xp and 2000 systems within minutes....
Looking at submit stats on my link sites.. less than 50% of webmasters use IE now.. would have been 80% consistently for years before 2004 I would guess.
I want to change... but I hate not looking at the web the same way as most surfers do.
When you guys say netscape.. is that the same as Mozilla.. or Firefox?

For europe my stats are like this:
IE 6: 88.1%
IE 5: 8.5%
Netscape 7.x 1.7%
Mozilla 1.X 1.7%
That doesn't really looks promising, but then again, we are always late, suppose the people in the US get a Pentium 4 4 ghz, then after 15 years we can buy it also lol

I am a dedicated Netscape user. I like to stick to things that I know. Dave uses IE and has tried to convert me many times, but hasn't shown me anything worth changing for.
Yes, it pisses me off too when I have to load IE to view some sites correctly.
