View Full Version : Serge's BUY alert

CPN, Calpine Corp.
10 days ago the stock was at it's bottom near $3,
it's now around 3.70 and will go higher because:

1) 2 good news in the row about the contracts they sold
(everybody thought they gonna go under)

2) short interest in the stock as of April 15th was
107 mln shares, (almost 22% from issued stock)
10 days it's trading volume!

Aggressive traders-
it could be a good in and out opportunity,
as shorts are getting itchy!
;-))))

what price do you think big traders will start taking their profits home? 3.9ish?

looks like an attractive stock, i'm still sitting on raytheon though, again.

Steve,
this is VERY speculative stock and ONLY for aggressive investors with disposable capital, willing to take the RISK.

check all other peaks on the stock in the last 24 months,
ALL of them are results of the SHORT SQUEEZE

you go for "greedy sell" because you are poor.

If you were rich,
you'd be happy with 3% a year and ZERO chance to lose a penny

You missed out on NWS Serge. Back on the 12th I called it at $35.68. Now it's at $36.85 and was over $37 today. It will go higher.

Hard to say Serge with the market skittish like it is at the right now.

I'm not going to put a time frame on it at the moment. I will say, however, that there is more money to be made on NWS.

Joe,
beleive it or not, but I practically don't have any stocks,
I don't invest in stocks,
I play VERY small bets here and there,
but unless I am getting paid interest/dividends with VERY high degree of security
(High Credit Rating)
I don't want it.

As I said to my broker-

Fair enough. NWS is a solid company however.

At the moment I'm looking for capital growth so I'm hunting around in the speccy market on the ASX.

If anyone here plays the Aussie market, MUL is getting ready for a good rebound and should be worth a bet. I've ridden it from 4.8c to 5.1c and this morning it looks to be heading higher.

P.S. don't get discouraged if you don't have hard assets to put as collateral,
I'll accept your kidney, liver, heart,
as collateral.

Sperm donor might work as well,
if you can jerk off 10-15 times a day 'till you fulfill your indebtness

my cars aren't worth a hundred grand, so for 10% you'd have to just take it as a contract loan with no collateral.

I can jerkoff about 10x a day at my age, might slow down to 8 or 9 come the end of the loan term.

or I can give you a 10% stake in a company that i'll put the hundred grand into. could earn you millions. :okthumb:
