Great - go see it

If you liked Shrek, you love Shrek2

New Character Puss In Boots :okthumb: :yowsa:

Very Funny, lots of laugh out loud moments, lots of adult humor and lampoons some um ... well known institutions

The last half hour of the movie is a riot

3.25 outta 4

It's playing up at our local little theater :) I might head up to the late show (9) if it's still playing this weekend. Thanks! :okthumb:

Oooh! I was talking about the theater here in town, but at the drive in is even better! :) You know I don't wash my car ever, so if there are ever butt prints created, they will be there forever. B)

I believe that's one of two drive ins left operating in Georgia.

I kinda wish they'd make a come back with first run movies. My car seats are much more comfy than those in the typical theater, and if the people next to you or behind you are making noise, you simply throw them out of the car and make 'em walk home.

I've always loved drive-ins. For some reason I've always dated guys with big trucks when I've been around drive-ins - back it in, put some lounge chairs in the truck bed and you're set :)

CT's first movie was at the old drive in on 85 - he was a month old. I wanted to see a movie and I didn't want to leave him with a babysitter. :P

I have years of fond memories of that theater and the one in Statesboro :) There was one in Austell back in the early 80's that used to show soft porn. Or so I was told........

In college, we always went in an old hunk of junk car with a bench seat and a socket set. We'd take the bench seat out of the car, sit it up against the front bumper in reclined position and watch the movie in style.

Though by that time the drive-ins were well on their way out and played B-movies at best. That was the old Georgia drive-in during it's final days. There's a BMW dealership there now.

That drive-in made it into the 90's. And still showed first run. However, the problem was it became a major hang out for gays. You had to really focus only on the screen or you might see something you REALLY didn't wanna see.

There were lots of butt prints on those windows.

I *think* the one in statesboro is the other one that is still alive. I've been to the one in Austell as a kid back when it still showed first run, that was the Marboro or something like that.

They all tried to do softcore, but it was *too* softcore, barely R-rated...was rare to even catch a glimpse of some boo hair.

The real problem is simply economics. The old 85 drive in is a perfect example. On that same property that had 2-3 screens as a drive in, there's now a megaplex with 24 screens and stadium seating that makes a lot more money.

Yes that is what I heard that Shrek 2 is better then the first one. Never been to a drive-in theater, there aren't even any around here!

If the last movie I saw in a theater was "Jersey Girl" I prpobably wouldn't go back either ;-)

actually, ok, I did go see it in a theater and went back, but only because of my strong love of movies ;-)

Drive-In theaters.. I have one close to my house that shows new movies. My inlaws own an old drive-in theater.. the screens have been taken down but the old concession/projector building is still standing. I wish the screens where still up.. I think it would be cool to refurbish an old drive-in and open it back up.

hmmm... hehe

We actually still have a drive-in theater here in Vegas...I like it because it's cheap (so long as you bring your own food) and they repeat the first movive after the second which helps if you arrived late (as well as sometimes during the first showing, it's still really light out and ard to see the screen)

I have been to the movies probably twice in the last 10 years...

Last year I went to see The Lion King at the Imax theater. That was amazing! I laughed, I cried...
