Water water everywhere.....

About 8 inches fell overnight. Had to get up at 5 this morning because the pool was pretty much filled to the brim. Put the pump on drain for an hour and it was barely keeping up with what was coming down.

But the basement stayed dry :okthumb:

i'm hoping the rain stays away until after the bank holiday here but chances are it will stay away until it starts and then pour down the entire time.

Right when they were forcasting a drought, we've had tons of rain recently, though not 8 inches! :zoinks:

I still have my windows open and with all the humidity, it's getting a bit moist inside. B)

Been watching the news a bit this morning. About an hour south of me they got 10-11 inches across 8 hours. Water rescue is out on the rivers and lakes. Roads are flooded, mudslides. all sorts of stuff....

But it's stopped for now....

New Orleans has been getting hammered by rain the past few weeks. However in Tampa, it has not seriously rained more then 10 minutes in about 2 months. We need rain bad.
