"Disagreement among members is what makes OPEC so beautiful; we don't like OPEC to be predictable," he explained. "You have to understand that our sovereign members will reach decisions with the collective interest in mind."

Kheraigi conveyed the organization's position that "oil would never be used as a political weapon. OPEC is never considered a political entity; our decisions are driven by economic realities."

I think oil should be use as a political weapon - tell the middle east that we are determine to use all the time, money and resources we have into oil replacement in the western world, because we find it to risky to be depended on their part of world, which lacks true freedom and democracy. Now either they change their ways, or in 10-20 years time we will no longer be interested in the middle east, and their countries will soon look like parts of africa. :ph34r:

that is probably correct, and that is why more millitary action in middle east is likely in the future... we need access to those titties like babies need breast milk... :stout:
