Van Helsing has had a lot of hype.... they even ran a commercial during Super Bowl.

I will probably wait till DVD - story looks boring.

A few movie reviews described it as "shallow". Not in the mood for shallow today. Maybe next week.

I get the same feeling after seeing too many Hollywood movies that I do after eating too much fast food.

I crave something substantial... and I feel a bit dirty. Out, out, damned spot!

So do people here actually watch non-Hollywood, foreign (shock, horror), arthouse or underground movies?

Syk, please note that an answer from you is not required.
