You can if you have an ePassporte account and a US cell phone

And yes, before you start yelling at me about it only being US, we're working on adding international as I type.

If you were watching AlyTV.com today, you saw Aly get money delivered right to her cell phone live on the air --

All ePassporte clients now have the ability to add funds, check balances, and transfer money to other clients from SMS capable cell phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you'd like to try the service out, all you have to do is log into your ePassporte admin and hit the TEXT MONEY link -- you will be asked to register your cell phone number to your account, follow a simple activation process and then you are good to go.

If you do not have an ePassporte account yet (um, don't make me ask you why not) then you can still access a Flash demo of the product from the front page of the site as well.

I don't personally know of any competitor offering this service, but if anyone here does by all means let me know so I can make sure ours beats the pants off theirs...

Congrats Kimmy & ePassporte!

This will make that $20 bill heads or tails game (everyone was playing in Florida) much harder a little more difficult to play, but easier to settle up in the end!

Right now it's 50 cents, look for it to drop as we get more leverage with the providers, and release some other options on it as well.

>If you do not have an ePassporte account yet (um, don't make me ask you why not)

because its so hard to setup that I gave up on the 5th attempt.

epassporte relies on banks doing certain things a certain way which banks in my country don't do that way so the setup requires me making several phonecalls and waiting several days.

each time i've tried i've gotten more frustrated ... when I gave this feedback, I was treated like an idiot.

and that's why I don't, and may not ever, have an epassporte account.

Actually, I can do you one better -- I can just give the person some cash, thereby bypassing the cellphone and all the extra steps.
