So, in the spirit of lists of what we like/dislike we seem to have going here what are your favorite mini-series on tv of all time? Roots? Lonsome Dove? IT? Shogun? Helen of Troy? Children of Dune? From Earth To The Moon? What tickled your fancy when it was shown on TV?

Some of my favorites are...

From Earth to the Moon- an inspiring story of what this country can do.

IT- I loved this Stephen King adaptation.

Neeful Things- entertaining as hell watching people be so manipulated!

Hitler: The Rise of Evil- a fascinating look at what led to this piece of garbage's ascension.

Helen of Troy- saw this on USA and just loved it.

The Oddessy- One of the best tales of all time retold quite well on tv.

Jason and the Argonauts- notice soemthing in these last three? :P

There are a bunch more I could list but these will do for now!! :D

From way back, I liked The Martian Chronicles.

From not so long ago, I like Horatio Hornblower.
