I only knew of one, apparently there are a total of 3 now with 56 performers 'qarantined' for a period where the virus can remain dormant, regardless of their test results being negative. As the virus could show up in their system six months from now..

Interesting question I have always wondered, and littles is spoke of this.

How long after someone is infected with HIV does it take before they can spread it? Do they have to test positive for HIV or if there was a scenario where three people were having sex at the same time one giving it up the ass the other pumping a girl's pussy... And the guy giving it up the ass has AIDS, could the guy having regular sex with her get the disease THAT quickly throug her (exclude the idea of the mens shit contamination the other guy which is a high likelihood also somehow I would assume)? There seriously is little to no information on this.

Check GFY...Dugmore and some of the other suitcase pimps were over there trying to book these girls for some out of state work.

Ryan, the tranmission paths are not 100% clear, but here goes:

if everyone in your scenerio is having unprotected sex, there is a chance that the infected guy would not only infect the girl (good possibility, anal sex tends to create abrasions and such that make it easier for blood to blood contact, even at microscopic levels). There is also a more remote (but possible) infection route through the fluids and such "shared" by the double epentration (the two holes are very close together). I have never heard of any "simultanious infections" via the girl / third person, but I am sure there are some out there.

No, in this case the more disturbing thing is that between 03-24-04 and 04-13-04 Darren James worked with a number of people. Now TWO of them have turned up postitive, and Jessica Dee worked with 6 other male performers between the time she worked with Darren and the time she (and the others) were quarantined. Further, while she has come up HIV pos, those people (listed on the secondary list for Darren only) have not been moved up to primary, and their secondary partners are not currently being revealed.

In my mind, just like Laura Roxx, when she turned up positive, Jessica should be listed primary and ALL of her primary (and their secondary) contacts should be listed and Quarantined through testing. I do not understand why AIM is suddenly squeemish about naming names.

As a side note, her secondary list includes Carlos Mendes, Sean Michaels,
Julian St. Jox , etc. So now any work they did between their contact with her and their date of quarantine should be looked at (and revealed for everyone's protection, IMHO).

Shiiit...this whole thing is turning into a real mess... Hopefully nobody else comes up postitive, however, I'm not getting my hopes up high.

Rawalex,

I am just as concerned as you. There are people that should have been tested by now but I do not see any reports on the results. I did see an AVN article stating that 4 of the girls tested negative but I have a hard time believing that due to the fact that some of the girls listed were not 30 days out yet.

Here is the article I am referring to: http://www.avn.com/index.php?Primary_Navig...ontent_ID=81324 (http://www.avn.com/index.php?Primary_Navigation=Articles&Action=View_Article&Content_ID=81324)

Thoughts?

Yes, definitely a huge mess. Time for condom's to be made mandatory.

Since HIV can take up to six months to show up, just because someone
tests negative now does not mean they are in the clear, and cannot end
up testing positive in 3 months, right ?

Meat, it is VERY sad for those who have tested positive, nail biting tense for those who are on the list, and probably just as tense for any number of people who MIGHT have been involved.

It's also sick to see many in the industry trying to do a "business as usual" and keep shooting... trust me, there is MORE THAN ENOUGH porn in the stores to carry them for 60 days without any stress.

Tragic is another word for it.

One of my best friends is dying with AIDS - female - contracted it from an ex about 17 years ago.

It is one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with - and I can't imagine dealing with it as a son, daughter, mother, spouse or as the HIV+ person.

Condoms should have been mandatory years ago - period. The public may have their 'preferences' - but there's a line between giving the public what they want and handing out death sentences to do it.

Gonna hush - could get on a soapbox REALLY easily and doing so won't change a damn thing unfortunately.

Hopefully this will at least wake a few folks up and changes will be made. (crossing fingers)
