Should it be any surprise that the organization that lied about two girls in porn were HIV positive when we only know of one so far, and strongly implied that the second girl HIV Positive was Dynasty, when she is negative, has done it again?
Today AVN.com, with the advice of attorney Paul Cambria, falsely accused me of a felony. They've doctored the story from their initial posting to try to get themselves out of their pile of stinking lies and utter cowardice, not to mention inept reporting.
Paul Fishbein (not man enough to call me) called up my boss Lensman Thursday, April 22, and reamed him over said article below. Paul had been yelling all day how he was going to sue me, my boss and everyone responsible for pointing out AVN's numerous errors of gross journalism and favoritism. My boss, getting a distorted version of what happened, pulled the story in question, believing I had committed a felony. I got home from the AIM conference, found out what happened, and immediately resigned from Adultbeat.
AVN reporter Scott Ross was talking to Rob Spallone on Monday, April 19. Rob had him on speaker. There were a dozen people in the room listening to that conversation. I believe Rob Spallone told him there was a documentary crew present. Scott did not want his conversation with Rob published. So what? I made no agreement with Scott to keep it off the record.
Nobody made an off the record pact with me. It is none of my responsibility if someone tries to negotiate off the record deals with other parties. And for something to be off the record with me, I have to agree. It takes two parties to make a contract. You can't just dictate off the record to me and expect me to accept it like some serf, like some lowly reporter at AVN who's constantly bossed around and abused by tinpot dictators such as Tim Connelly.
If somebody says "off the record" to me, and I agree, then I stand by that implied contract. I had no contract with Scott Ross. I owe him nothing in this respect.
Scott Ross knew he was taking part in a public conversation, a conversation on speakerphone with numerous people, such as Mike Davis, Bill Margold and others shouting into the speakerphone.
There is no illegality involved in my taping this massive conversation because there were at least a dozen people in the room and many of them were talking into the phone with Rob and the reporter. You can check with any attorney on this. It is illegal to record a phone conversation only if the person has the expectation of privacy. There were numerous people talking into the speaker phone. Scott Ross knew he was on speakerphone and he knew it was not private.
It just shows once again that Tim Connelly, Paul Fishbein and AVN are a bunch of losers and whiners. Paul could've been a man about things and called me if he had a problem with what was going on. And then, if he felt he was not treated fairly, he could've honorably gone to my boss.

It looks like those weasels have that article set up so that Cambria can claim that he didn't know that they were asking him about a telephone conversation that had multiple people on the other end, and the article's author can claim that he didn't realize that Cambria wouldn't have said it was illegal if he (Cambria) had been given the full story."

No bandwidth charges, no fees, and 30-MB of space for photos, and 20-MB of space for files. You can then create a 2nd group to host the discussion of the posted stories in your 1st group. Separating the articles from the discussion will help keep things organized. If you need assistance, please ask.

BTW, what was your opinion on the AIM press conference earlier today? From the other stories on the 'net, it seemed like an orchestrated white washing of the real issues, with a overtone of a "f--- you" attitude to the various government agencies looking at this situation.
You need to continue publishing. Do it before this crisis dies and the real victims once again are sacrificed for the powers that be.

I returned from the AIM Press Conference and lunch to find a scathing article on AVN.com about Adult Beat’s Duke Floored. I had just seen Duke at the conference and was surprised by the roasting he was delivered from the adult media giant.
Then Duke emailed me something private, which I cannot divulge, but which caused me to check his site and to see that he had indeed quit his post there over the debacle.
Often burned by the flames of industry scorn for his questionable investigative methods and ‘pull-no-punches’ exposes that always asked the tough questions, and sometimes got him punched, Duke will remain an enigma to most of us who grew to expect no less of him.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Duke Floored is now dead. Long Live Duke Floored?
Who amongst you, who knew him best, will sing his eulogy?
