It's boring

It's not a brave new world

.... and that can be evidenced by seeing how many are pursuing other endeavors

It is definately not as fun as it used to be.... starting from scratch and building a business is always exciting.

I have been more inspired lately then I have been about a year ago. Lot of good things going on, that I think is going to pan out very well.

However, every year my income from non-adult ventures increases, and it will surpass adult soon.

I was bored until I started working for WEG and WTS (or Weg and Wig B) ) but now I'm learning entire different parts of the biz so it's fun again :)

I go through my good days and my bad depending upon how the meds are working (if I even bother taking them), but I've always been one to get bored easy. I'm not good with redundant tasks.

Damn! I'm the first first to vote for "I'm Loving it"??? That is sad.

I enjoyed the old days and I'm enjoying myself now.. for different reasons.. different kinds of challenges.

Nick--

Pour up a pint of Ice Wine and let your creative juices FLOW.
When I get bored I have a few bottles...I keep telling you come down to Atlanta and Ill show you some real trouble.

You really really dont want me to have to come all the way to VanCooter!

Some parts of it bore me to tears, and I could do them just as easily and well in my sleep...

But there are still things that come along that pleasantly surprise me, those are the ones I tend to court relentlessly these days.

The business can always be profitable..... but if the enjoyment of getting to know and interacting with the people in it doesn't appeal anymore there are other much safer ways to make money than this biz.

Story so far:

Got into this biz all excited :okthumb:

Got bored :(

Started a 'real' world venture and was excited about that :okthumb:

Got bored :(

Got back into this and again I was excited :okthumb:

Got bored :(

Started another 'real' world venture and I was more excited than ever :okthumb:

Got bored :(

So I have 2 'real' world ventures and this and I was feeling all bored when my son came along and I realised that being bored doesn't matter as long as he never wants for anything :)

I guess business is not much different from mount climbing...every time the peak is conquered,
the boredom sets in 'till the next peak is explored.

When one works for the company,
one has his eyesights on the peak thru one;'s entire career,
enterpreneurs may reach their peaks MUCH faster...with BOREDOM as a price to pay for success....

i think most of the people here are adventure seekers not *old reliable* types.
i'm inspired and excited when something innovative and/or new comes around.

that said... count me as bored.

A lot of these posts reflect exactly how I feel , especially Serge and Hooper.

I'm certainly looking for a new challenge to enthuse.

I doubt very much it will be in the adult field.

Virtually all my traffic goes now to non adult.

Can you believe I find that a porn related SE term makes more money these days if redirected to Pharma?

What the hell is the world coming too!! ;-)))

{ yes , I'm a tad cunty today. }

Nick,
when will the "former broker's pips" start calling????

I still find fascination with market timing, beating the crowds and maximazing returns...
