This will be my last night at home. I leave tomorrow to go to the hotel, sleep there the night. I get to get a few more tests done to see if I can still go, then I'm off to San Antonio. It's been great posting here and getting to know the people, I'll be back sooner or later, depends how much internet time I get. Take care everyone.

CT...

I hope all goes well for you....

Two things to remember:

1. Don't sweat the small shit...

2. It's all small shit....

Take care, see you in a couple of months...

Good luck CT!!!!

I've no doubt that you will totally kick ass - you've had a great role model all your life who has worked her ass off to give you this chance. We know you'll make her proud! :okthumb:

oh and don't forget to send me a photo in the uniform :agrin: :inlove:

Go kick ass and take names, CT!!

Hey, you might want to consider keeping a journal from your first night on through your time in the military - it'll be invaluable to you years from now and your children and grandchildren will treasure it forever. If you do this, be sure to stick pictures in it, too!

CT,

Best of luck to you in the Air Force. You will do just fine.

I hear AF basic is pretty easy, so just keep quiet, do what the drill instructors say and you will be ok!!

Have fun going around the world, and meet some nice gals :) Oh and btw take all the free college classes you can!!

Peace

Todd

Congratulations & some good advise given here! You are on the adventure of your young life. Take it all in & make good choices.

Peaches - don't cry! :-) oh, that was dumb - we all know you will :-) No matter how much grief they give you sometimes - it is still unsettling when they leave the nest.

Wow, I can't believe it's finally time. You've grown up so much John, good luck. I still picture you in my head as a kid at the lake half the time I think about you... don't throw anything at me either!

Keep us posted or we'll only hear your mothers side of the stories ;)

I am too depressed to ever leave the house again. :cryin:

He is gone, I have been crying since 6 and I'm on my 3rd apple martini. I was even seriously considering contacting old boyfriends on the way home from S. Atlanta, lol! I'm in BIG trouble when I'm that low. :(

It would take 10 Grogans to equal the worth of one CT. :okthumb:

(and no, that DOESN'T mean I want 10 Grogans......)

So sorry I missed the big Oprano send-off for CT... but I wish him (and Mom) the best of luck. Was going to second that bit about "don't forget to write your mom" but he's a good boy... I think we'll be hearing regular updates that he's doing just fine.

Good luck Peaches. *holds a virtual apple martini up for ya*
