*They ARE giving me another chance after yacking with them fyi*

Submitting too many inappropriate keywords to google adwords can get you axed now.

What I used to like is even if my lists weren't totally filtered, it's no biggie cuzz google will just dissaprove them.

Well, my personal account just got booted today for the above said. So be really careful to filter your lists for terms like child and anything related, and prostitutes/hookers (can you believe it). Most all of my lists are child etc filtered, I think the last straw was actually an ad that had too many prositute related keywords.

***the useful part***
You can use something like examine32 to manipulate your lists (sorry I dont have a link) OR a different route would be using editplus and just replacing all "kid" or "hook" with "a" .

Be careful if you want to keep that google traffic.

edit: gonzo I think my song recommendation should be allowed back because of my business related thread :D

good question I should have put it in the first post.

I have bazillions of search terms and if they generated a click, they got put into general adult listings of mine.

stuff like prostitute hooker and even kid (granted this was a mistake I didnt filter this additional "general" list) can end up in your bulk lists....assuming you know how to compile them.

Like I said, I know for a fact it was multiple prostitute/hooker etc ones, but they did bring up the kid ones on "appeal".

Just a little fyi to be careful.

and its not just ones with kid or prostitute

its dissapproved that'll get ya fucked, and if you have big lists its often hard to say for sure you dont have some general term in there thay they consider unethical. I mean, we cant filter 20k lists for every term like woman for example, without fucking up ligitimate keywords.

woman with dildo = good

womens rights = bad (and this term HAS generated clicks on adult sites on all of the top SE's)

so what I'm saying is its hard to do for those massive keyword bidders, but if you want to keep your google account, it's going to take some effort, or use smaller lists and settle for 1/3 of your potential.

filter yer fucking lists for words like "kid" and "women's rights". What the hell are you gonna do with that traffic anyway...send a 12 year old off to cybererotica...since you have a fetish with ron levi?

WTF is wrong with you? That's not a mistake - it's flat out idiocy. I hope they can yer account completely.

damn...and people wonder why the government is cracking down on adult - look at what the people involved are doing. It amazes me visa has taken this long...

here's a novel concept ...

if you just worked on keywords that are relevant you might not have this problem!

what would you expect sending 'womens rights' to porn?! a blowjob from those womens?!

dickhead

I swear I read one of these every six months, usually, however, on newbie boards rather than Oprano.

This one isn't quite as bad as the guy moaning because he'd gotten a C&D for the use of a pokemon-related term in his metas, but it's close.

Most all of my lists are child etc filtered

The use of the word "most" in that sentence speaks volumes, bucko ...

damn, I think I may have actually agreed with aeon ... I should have gotten a letter from the committee in advance that this can't be used as a precedent.

pd, i was thinking the same thing!

Whats so hard about filtering?! its a few extra steps for potentially a lot less grief. *shrug*

i guess steve grogan has to make the $500 to fix his camero somehow

hmm, you guys must make your keyword lists by hand or must be 100% perfect if never getting a bad keyword in a 50k list or so.

it wasnt kid that got me banned, it was prostitute and hooker. so when you get banned for "hooker porn" you can fuck yourself.

well it all added up, banned for hooker related stuff, but unbanned after i sent em a better filtered list for the listing and told them id work on my filtering more for them.

some of you may have missed the point after you saw the word kid in my post.

the point was that its not harsh cp words thatll get you booted, advertising an escort site on hookre could do you in. so take whatever you want from this, but when you see keywords dissapproved, remember that means you are juts another few words closer to getting booted.

football xx is another example, now how am I going to find that in a list longer than santas?

no worries gonzo, sex.com is A-OK, except they've been delaying working on bulk submissions with me and won't seem to do one good faith one without a 500 deposit.
