Peaches you are correct - the carpetbaggers continue to move in from up North.

As far as the Civil War, if the South would have won there would have been a gov't that actually respected states right. The 10th Amendment is completely ignored now. The US contniues to move to a more centralized control from Washington DC which is something the Founders did not want.

For those who think slavery was the primary reason for the Civil Wrong, you need to stop getting your history from comic books. It was not the reason for the war. It became a nice "justification" and rallying point for the North, sort of like getting rid of the "evil dictator in Iraq".
