View Full Version : Older single guys... questions.

I used to panic about aging and being single. I am 32 now and single, been in and out of serious relationships since I first discovered poon. I was stressing for a bit about being this age and single... but this is what I have discovered.

It has never been any better than it is now. Single women 30 and over are so desperate they will almost maul you if you show any interest. And girls 18 and up still want to bang you.

If I stay single will it continue to get even better? Why in gods name would a reasonably attractive man with a decent job get married? The world is yours.

Really, its absurd. Granted a lot of these women have some serious baggage, but damn, women in their 30s are looking so hot these days.

So. If I am 40 and single will it still be pussy fest?

and this is also what I am quickly finding out.

If you come to a smallish town, and tell one person what you do for a living, the news spreads like fire and the freaks will hunt you down.

I swear on my grandmothers grave that I was sitting at a friends the other day, a girl comes in, sits down, and starts talking to me. Never seen her before. 19, Idaho whitebread. Probably a mormon. About 3 minutes into the conversation she asks me if I work in "porn". "In a roundabout way" I said. She then launches into a story about how she loves porn, thinks about doing porn, and that I should see her "collection". I swear I could have went meat holes on her, it was sick. I actually felt bad for her, one of you wackos are gonna get ahold of someone like this and fuck them for life. I actually talked her out of being a whore by telling her industry whore horror stories.

I hope she never approaches me again esp if I been drinking... or I will go meatholes on her.

But then there is this dirty goth stripper that I want to get on suicide girls. So hot but a filthy dirty whore, 19.

Women man, they are so fucking sad.

Ahhhh, fuck it, go meatholes on her. Or better yet, wait until I visit and then introduce her to me and I'll go meatholes on her for you... with an Australian accent. She'll love it!

But then what do I know, I'm a sick fuck who can't think of anything but beer, weed, coke, mushrooms, whores and Amsterdam.

And on top of all that, I don't even have a decent job.

This is what you need to do. 3 months in Amsterdam, and then come back to America with me where you will proceed to plow so much ass you wont even know what to do with yourself.

These small town hick hotties that only see Australians on tv. Christ.

No one, male or female should get married before they're 35 (if then) , IMHO. :)

Those small town girls are exactly why I didn't raise my kid in a small town. Most of these chicks are so desperate to get married it's frightening. When we first moved here he was just amazed at how many kids his age were not only married, but on their 2nd or 3rd kid (some even divorced and remarried - all before 21), lol! Most don't go to college, so getting married is the only way out of the house. Of course, they don't have decent jobs, so they're living in crappy trailers.

I don't think anyone he went to HS or played sports with is married or has a kid except for one chick and everyone in his graduating class went to college. The difference in cultures within 1+ hours distance is amazing.

Well god damn, for once we are in agreement.

If you could go back in time, would you not get married young?

We're in agreement more than you think - you're in denial about it. :awinky:

No, I think getting married that young is begging for trouble. You are still a child, you change SO much between your 20's and 30's, but OTOH, you know everything so no one could possibly tell you you're too young. :P My family was horrified. Add to that, we had a kid almost a year to the date of our first anniversary, and in that same year bought a house and started a business. Too much, too fast, IMHO.

The only thing good about it is having kids young. Once of my best friends from HS is my age with a 3, 4 and 5 year old. I don't think I have the energy, lol! Then again, her kids will never see the inside of a daycare center so waiting until you're financially secure has its advantages. She says they're just going to roll her down the aisle in her wheelchair when her youngest graduates from college :awinky:

hmmm, I got married young (19) but to someone a bunch older than me (18 years) and over time we have developed a somewhat open relationship. I think that had I been married at 19 to someone that was also 19 I would be divorced by now.

Interesting point.

I got married a little over a year ago, I am 33 now. Katie is 22. When I met Katie she was 18, we started dating when she was 19. What sets her part is she has maturity beyond her years, and has no baggage, nor does she let emotions control her life.

Labret, women tend to get more confident in their sexuality when they get older... they also know what they want sexually, and will do what it takes to get it. You've see "Sex in the City" right? :yowsa:

I've always been more attracted to women in their 30's, even when I was in my 20's... Young girls (and guys for that matter) are generally stupid. I don't say that to be mean, it's just the truth. Peaches made a good point that there you go through SO many changes in your 20's.

I joke that I don't look as good as I did when I was 22, but I'm ten times the person I was back then and I wouldn't go back for anything...

im not quite sure in this day and age what makes marriage any different then an extremely long term relationship (over 6 years). marriages, for the most part, seem to be a farce (then again, i was 5 when i said i would never get married...this was during my parents wedding day mind you).

if i had my choice (and i do), i'd just live with a person til my dying day. this way if i ever decided i had enough, there would never be any unnecessary baggage. both parties could walk away and go about their lives.

ive worked too hard to get to the point i am at to have a man interfere with my success. so the best thing is to keep the person i want to be with close, yet at a distance.

I've been with my girlfriend for two years now. We're engaged, and we'd like to get married and have kids soon. Probably before we're 25. I'm 20, she's 19. I guess it depends on what you want from life.

I see a lot of people that say if you get married young or have kids young, that you can't really live your own life. I guess that's true for some people, but for me, family is what it's all about. I am very family orientated. Hell, pretty much my entier family on my mother's side has migrated to Brisbane, Australia, from South Africa just so we could all be together again. We're very close.

And although i'm planning on moving back to Ireland once i'm married, the only reason i'm able to leave my family is that the other half of my family will be there, or else i just wouldn't be able to leave.

All depends on what you want from life. I've been with one woman, and i am more than happy to keep it that way.

normally i would say youre so young; wait and see what curve balls youre thrown and then come back to statement when youre in your late 30's, but i have a friend who married four days after graduating hs and almost 20 years later she is still with the guy.

granted they have had one hell of a ride from cheating to losing a child but somehow they have prevailed and i commend that.

relationships are more work and more stress then your day to day job at a top level. anyone who can make a relationship work, let alone a marriage, i give amazing credit to.

Don't do it man, just don't do it. If...you do - make damn sure you have an iron clad pre-nup. Women are all sweet and lovey until the shit hits the fan then you'll see a level of absolutely sinister evil and malice that satan himself would cringe in front of.

Saying "I do" is easy...the years it takes you to get out of that mess can fuck you up - literally.
