True, I've been feeling homesick a bit recently,
then I go sit on the beach and think it's either this or dodging the dogturd on Southend seafront, that usually does the trick.

That and the price of beer

True, very true....

Plus with beer going up and cigarettes costing nearly £5.50 a pack it's getting damn expensive to live here and we've got shit weather as well :(

AND!!! the water at my local beach is on the North Sea so you can only swim in it for something like 3 - 4 minutes before you freeze and die...

Like Billy Connely said: You've got these men on the oil rigs, with their survival suits and all the fancy gear and their boss saying don’t fall in the water or you've only got 3 minutes before you've had it. 5 miles away there's hundreds of us in our woollen swim suits paddling around in it.

Thats just stupidly expensive, get on a plane from Newcastle to Amsterdam for 50 quid return, but a few cartons, you've saved money.

I looked into setting up a site selling them from here and shipping within Europe, as the point of sale is in Spain, taxes are paid on them here,
they'd cost about 2 quid a pack inc. shipping.

But Customs and Excise wont let you, even though technically it's completely legal under the EU.

Southend is on the North Sea aswell, mouth of the Thames,
and yep it's not only cold it's fucking filthy.

Tell me about it, I bought some ciggies from http://www.ciggies.co.uk only to receive a letter from the customs and excise officer at my local sorting office saying that I had to go and pay the duty, if I had payed the duty it would have made them nearly £7.20 a pack... so I just left them :(
