Cogent is the leader in "deep discount" bandwidth peering. A lot of data centers use the bandwidth they provide since it is cheap. However there are a lot of "customers" who will have nothing to do with any provider that offers Cogent since it is widely used and reported as slow and unreliable sometimes.

IMHO, your money would have been better in a different stock. The price is not going to go up or down any time soon. In at $1.90, I would be out at $3.00 or gone at $1.30. Just my input.

shittiest bandwidth money can buy

I've looked at it...maybe not the worst time to buy but if you make 10 percent I'd seriously dump it with a quickness.

And if you lose 15 percent...boy you might consider taking that loss

my 2cents

I agree, don't see how there is much room for expansion at their margins, maybe a buyout would boost share price enough to sell.

Serge I have been doing well in my REITS.

The ones I sent you 2 months ago, I am up 6.15% and have had some nice dividends.

Even MAC is up 5.59%

Did you notice CATS dropped, its going back up... I really need to start getting in and out, I know the movements so well.

Mike, now we play against each other...
1) I sold 30% of my Fanie Maies today and have the LOWEST position in bonds EVER

2) bought some junk, just because 10% coupon is hard to pass by (PHK)

3) keep on adding to the short treas position

remember July/Aug and how fast rates moved up?

I don't wanna get caught with the pants down....the day Fed starts to tighten,
6% is what REITS be losing a day...I can't afford this gamble

Actually Serge higher interest rates would help many REITS. I am into some big apartment, mobile home and office REITS.

When interests rates are low people dont rent, they buy houses, or mobile homes or office building. When rates go up they rent more....

But it is something to be careful with.

I have some REITS I am up over 95% in less then a year, with a 6% dividend to boot!
