I'm going to have to find season 1 of the sopranos and actually watch the damn thing sometimes.. With so many people liking it, I'd like to know what the hype is all abou.

Damn it! You need to mark your threads if you're talking about a TV show when some of us are grabbing the midnight feed.

BTW, Serge - finally watched all three of the "El" trilogy (not sure what else to call it - the last one was Once Upon in Mexico). Thanks for the recommendation :) I think even Wig would like them - he seems to think there aren't any good movies out there any more.

OK, now I'm going to watch the Sopranos though I will probably fall asleep and watch the rest tomorrow - NO MORE SPOILERS! :nyanya:

I agree Serge, definately best line.

Episode was very SLOW though.... boring...

I know they like to set up the cards before knocking them down, but with last year sucking so much, I jsut get the feeling the Sopranos have lost it.

The Shield is better.... every show is INTENSE.

Which is exactly why for big shows that generate "water cooler" discussions, I watch it live in real time....no exceptions....

Serge do you go over MikeW's house and watch the Soprano's

Donny told me about some Gay Ass Soprano's viewing party
I figured you'd be involved

my favorite line as well

first episode was a bit disappointing with the cheesy "Looks like this will be a good year for mafia reporting" and the stupid bear etc.

this was a better one, still a little boring and still not nearly as good as any one episode of the first 3 seasons.

but I won't stop watching anyway, too much time invested in the characters

But that means sometimes you have to watch commercials. :zoinks:

Plus I'm taping something else when the Sopranos are on - either Law and Order or Malcom/Arrested Development. Ditto with the Shield - I'm taping NYPD.

Up in the hills we are desperate for free entertainment. :okthumb:

The line about the fur coat in the last episode was pretty good.

Hope Chris nails that little girl before the feds take her away!

Peaches you should try to watch the original show so you can participate in the Oprano water cooler chat!

Sopranos suck. Show has not been worth watching for years.

OK, I'm finally finished up with porn work, so I'm headed to finish The Sopranos. Did anyone else catch the Opus Dei reference at Carmine's wake? :P

What I need to do is route the other satellite feed into TiVo, then I can tape one show and watch another. That may be my weekend project :)
