Whoever said their billing was screwed up was right. :angry:

Got a "past due" notice today for $118 threatening me with a disconnect. This is the first thing I have ever received from them. It was dated March 4. I signed up Feb. 4. I pull up my "itemized" billing to see what they're charging me for and there's one bill there for 1/6-2/6 for $29.95 plus taxes and regulatory crap. No other bill.

First of all, there's no way I'm paying $35+ for 2 days usage and where the heck did they come up with the other $80+? :unsure:

I'm going to wait until I calm down a bit and call them tomorrow, but geeze. I'd heard about Cingular's billing problems and now I know why. I should have stuck with them through Tracfone. :(

scratch verizon off too. we used them for a week. now we have our tails between our legs and are going back to sprint. coverage sucked and phones were almost comical.

Fuck that Peaches. Call in and ream their ass while you are nice and hopping mad. I do that and don't fell bad one iota about it!! :D

Here's what they told me:

The charge a month ahead of time and I have a $36 activation fee and a $36 processing fee. Apparently they sent the bill to me Feb. 6. They have one word in the street name spelled wrong, but it's enough to get it here - after all, the late payment notice got here. :angry:

So...I am sending the $118 because apparently I DO owe it and so far, no extra charges.

Argh!
