On ALL counts....
Wonder what kind of sentence she will get? Are there any minumums?
Why wouldn't someone with her wealth, at the first sight of this criminal prosecution on the horizon, move her assets offshore and leave to Spain or Italy or something? She might actually do jail time now....

why would someone with that kind name, wealth and power throw it all away to be a fugitive when she'll probably only spend a year in prison.

Why would someone with that level of wealth and power risk not only jailtime, but her reputation, for $51,000?
That's how much she saved by executing that trade.....$51K.

I just read in newsweek she was offered a deal to just get probation, and refused it.

Yeah, once I heard that, I figured the holier than thou biddy got her just desserts - albeit ones with homemade whipped toppings on matching dessert plates with sterling silver spoons. :awinky:

Her lawyers are morons....
First off, it should've never went to trial to begin with.
And their defense consisted of one witness and bet the farm that would be enough to raise reasonable doubt about the government's case.
Must be karma because I've heard from multiple sources who say when the camera and microphone is off she is the queen bitch from hell.
