my favorite part was....being in Ankara on 9/11, the capital, military stronghold, and feeling SAFE in 98% moslem country on 9/11.
3 places I'll go back next year (assuming they hang by the balls all terorists, I see no reason why not)
Istanbul, Capadokia, Pammukule...
the pics tell the story

Tourists are poison. Where is a martyr when you need one.

What a waste of money and time.
No background in art, history, religion. As if you can possibly understand what you are even looking at.

on the contrary...
I went there with Globus:
http://www.affordabletours.com/Globus_Tour...h_Delights.html (http://www.affordabletours.com/Globus_Tours/Europe/Globus_Turkish_Delights.html)
being in Greece a year before,
I now know 2 versions what happened in Turkey:
Greeks and Turkish,
along with extensive reading on the subject.
would you venture in pissing with me who knows art, history, local food, drinks, export products,
of those countries, you or me?
I'll give you odds,
keeping your ignorance on the subject in mind...
are you game?

That's beautiful. Is that off the place you were staying at, or just some place you went to? Would love to be able to just sit there having breakfast with a ocean views like that.
