I was at a wedding on Saturday. At parliament house, in brisbane. Joe, you'd know the place i'm talking about. Mmmm. Free beer at the reception. It always tastes better when it's free.

"dead girl,
there will never be another one like that screams like you.
when death sleeps, it dreams of you.
Delila played the dead girl at the freak show,
she smiles like, a ghost.
Like zombies eating dust in mexico.
Life dries cold,
beneath the dead soul lights.
she asked if it would hurt,
i smiled and said no.
the lie ran down my chin like embryo,
she smiles like a corpse.
like zombies eatind dust in mexico."

It was XXXX actually. Haha. I like the stuff. Probably the best mainland Australian beer. Certainly better than VB. Tasmanian beers are the best in Australia, though. Boags and Cascade are the shit.

hehe thought it had to be XXXX if it was free ;-) j/k

Cascade is good.. but not worth the stupid price imho. I was getting into the Heinekins for a while there (must have been all that Rugby WC advertising) but have switched to straight carlton draught now.. I get a taste for one and stick to it usually :)

Must be something in the sun that makes you banana benders love XXXX so much.. its the one beer I bet most of us mexicans would vote as the worst in the country...

Shit, it's 4.45pm... must be about time to crack one :agrin:

Sure man. I'll have to look into how to ship it safely but I'll send you a sixpack of Cascade (http://www.fosters.com.au/beer/about/brands/beer/cascade.asp) or Boag's (http://www.boags.com.au/Files/00205_BoagsHomepage.asp?flash=true&) for sure!

My favourite beers/stouts/ales are Kronenbourg, Guiness and Kilkenny.

I only drink XXXX when it's what's being given to me.

The Toohey's New isn't too bad either, but again, only when it's what's on offer.

No? Do tell. I have a sneaking suspicion that it involves beer.

Oh wait, is that the thing where you bite off at each end and use it as a straw? Haven't ever tried it. Usually with a hot drink, yeah? Maybe it would be better not to try that with beer. haha.

It's imperative to make sure you do! I think once that is done, along with your 8 years of residence, you should qualify as a citizen ;-)
