The only part I really like is the begining with Billy Crystal.

He is best peformer ever. To perform live in front of all those actors, live.... always funny.

How did her nipples get on the red carpet?

Was she wearing a red carpet?

I couldn't do Angelina Jolie, just imagine having to perform cunnilingus somewhere Billy Bob Thorton has been ... not pretty

I happened to flip over there and caught the Blake Edward tribute. It reminded me how much I loved the Pink Panther movies and I had to add them to my Netflix list. :P

Edited to add that they aren't out on DVD yet. :cryin:

Peaches, that reminds me of several excellent jokes about downloading and recording movies they did during show. Not to mention several references about the time delayed censor-, er, "public protection" (yeah, sure) measure.

Yup, I commented on Angelina's erect nipples and was so surprised she admitted to attending alone. Weird she wanted no escort.

Also knew they would do a pan shot of Oprah and as always Gail King accompanied her....makes ya wonder if Oprah does not have a little bisexual boom boom on the side.

I don't think I've seen any of them since they each originally came out, i.e. a LONG time ago. Watching some of the scenes from them last night made me realize I need to see them again. :P

He's come a long way since playing Derek in "Bad Taste" but I got a kick out of him mentioning "Bad Taste" and "Meet The Feebles"

Watching him get the Oscar was kind of like seeing someone you went to highschool with getting recognition.

I loved Master & Commander. It got a little slow at time, I understand being the first in a series they wanted to develop the characters. But I definately give it a thumbs up.

It is a movie that should be seen in a movie theater on a big screen.

Yup, my thoughts entirely. I love those kinds of movies.
I'm a big fan of all versions of "Mutiny on the Bounty" as well, but have a preference for the 1935 version.

So are you saying there will be more "M&C" movies coming out?

From what I read there will be many more made. Its a huge series of books.

I like those type of movies as well.

Plus any movie that has French losing and being blown up.... well you know the rest.

That's great... I have introduced some of my friends to "Mutiny"... awesome movie. It just came out on DVD (the 1935 version). I pre-ordered it from Amazon.
