Amazing the problem people have with the word itself. Lee would probably not have had a problem saying she worked in the porn business...but doesn't like the label "pornographer"...

Where do you draw the line? Are the owners of CCBill, Paycom, etc..."pornographers"? That's where they started their services. How about hosts that do exclusively adult hosting?

At what point do you officially become a "pornographer"? Shooting the content? Putting it on a webpage? Getting paid? How about just the sales reps for sponsor programs?

My response would be "Exactly".

Personally, I have no problem with the title, I just am not doing anything to renew that library card to make it believable.

The sniffing software ended up with ASACP and it was never released at a sponsor level. The natives were restless and threatened to drop any sponsor that sniffed their site.

Since sponsors tend to let their webmasters dictate their business plan, it was an opprotunity that went undeveloped and ASACP is far more sophisticated as a result.

So thats what happend with that.

I guess I will just hang around the business. I really do not see this industry ever embracing tools and innovations the way they used to.

So I guess the boards will just have to put up with me :-)))

However, I really think Lens should have brought me on the webmaster access tour as the MC, but I have not gotten in his face about this...LOL.

I think your right, Atlanta has always had a weak attendance with city webmaster events compared to those thrown in California.

I agree the webmaster shows will be a flash in the pan and be known for more partying reasons than business. It will be interesting to see if Sponsors continue to support the events....

Sure there are some shows that you KNOW are just going to be one big party, but I know in Vegas I got a lot of work accomplished as far as everything goes, and a lot of other people did too.

Agreed. This past Vegas show was great for business. The showroom floor seemed a lot slower, but I got tons of business done. I guess a lot of the "lookers" where the ones that stayed home, which worked out great.

This is a really good question because if I ran for local political office my ties to pornography would come up and be stated in the same fashion as its been stated in this thread.

But, I am not doing anything that can be challenged by law. So if I am a pornographer then why would I make for no challenge?

The arguement would be made concerning my connection to CECash which makes their money in pornography so by association I guess I am....

Track record aint too good as of late is it? I dont know of many people you can convince that you can run their studio for the tall cool sum of $150K a year.

Please keep posting your inane attempts to attack me though.
