I have never been a fan of CCBill, but I am curious as to why you think they will be next?

Roughly what percentange of your current processing is with CCBill?

Hooper
02-18-2004, 05:42 PM
maybe sunshine is.. but i'd bet ccbill goes before sunshine does. it's just a question of when.

Hooper
02-18-2004, 05:44 PM
we have less than 2% of our processing with ccbill. but 2% is still enough for us to protect.

it would be nice to know if there was an event. the CCBill crew invited everyone out for drinks in Seattle. maybe i can do an exclusive Oprano interview?

Hooper how about you discuss as you're the one who made the statement?

You have a good head on your shoulders

What makes YOU think this?

Hooper

I think that when processors start making important business decisions on their emotional shirt sleeves that it's a bad sign for their future.

I am really lost now.

I thought people WORE their emotions on their sleeves?

I am confsued as to what making important business decisions on their emotional shirt sleeves
means.

Is this some kind of secret code?

Hooper

lol. you're right mike. it's wearing emotions on their shirt sleeves and making decisions based on that.

whatever you call it.

actually at this point i'm going to stop posting.

i talked to them on the phone not long ago and it was not so discretely implied that they would terminate all of our rebills if we werent nicer.

apparently they are worried about the panic that might be caused.

I hate threads like this. Now I worry.. and if shit hits the fan in like 4 years, I will feel bad because I remember this thread then.

hahahahahhahahahahhahaa

i love how processors blackmail us into keeping our mouths quiet by using our rebills ...

its a pretty safe bet on their part :biglaugh:

sometimes, ya just gotta admit defeat - but i like how you pissed on the floor on the way out :wnw:

ps: i think ccbill has the best crew of all the 3rd party processors, they must have done something major to piss you off!!

I've been wrong about processors before - I thought IBill would be out of business by now (haven't used them as a primary processor in 2.6 years and still have rebills going through every month)

If we consider the processors that went under in the last year, most notably WSB and PSWBilling I don't see the same things going on at CCbill that caused the demise of the other processors (cross acquiring and so on) - also they didn't have the same structure and experience in the field that CCbill does

That being said it merits a pricking up of the ear about the treatment we are hearing about - but again there are 3 sides to every story

I'm thinking this too. Some more facts would be nice. Especially since I've billed with them since the started and to date I don't seem to have a problem. I admit that the scrub is tight, for good reason and they are way to quick to refund but what choice do they really have.

Honestly, I think CCBILL will be the only third party to take the lead. Why? The webmaster resells interface and their desire to protect that relationship, perhaps it’s a marketing strategy but it’s still a good one because it’s builds strength with the source that truly generates revenue. Let’s face it, without webmasters and affiliate action we’re all toast.

I don’t see it. I’m not usually wrong as far as my gut goes. They have become a major driving force after Ibill and although Ibill has its transitions, we all have, it still appears to be keeping up with the times. Lets face it these times are tough.

Ok, are you actually saying then that there's something you are doing that they don't necessarily approve of? And therefore you figured you'd piss on their potted plant in return? Is that was all this fortune cookiesque thread boils down to, Hoop?

Hooper

i posted my opinions, i'm not going to go into the details of it.
