I think its on a 5 minute delay now, so Janet Jackson doesn't flash any more nipples.

Damn, no need to watch now. Was hoping to find it jerk worthy

I don't know how the Grammy's get the ratings it does. Nobody watches it. I heard a piece earlier on NPR ... a reporter polled like 300 people outside a music store. Many of the people polled didn't even know what the reporter was talking about. Only one person said they planned on watching it.

I used to enjoy the Grammys.

It's mostly all crap now. I watched the Foo Fighters bit and that's it.

"What's so amazing
That keeps us stargazing"

Nope, I watched a little of the Pro Bowl

dantheman - don't know, it might be Priest Holmes. Funny to see Ray Lewis just standing around on the field during PAT's. Ed Reed comes up big!! as do many others

We watched Fox - Simpsons, Malcom and Arrested Development (awesome show, BTW). Then I went to bed with a headache. Did I miss anything important?

haha... great point.

I spoke to a friend from out west last night and I asked him that question.
Probably a bit of both.

I watched it for 5 minutes. All I saw was a guy from Outkast going up to receive an award. He walks toward the microphone and instead of thanking 2 dozen people he just says "Thank you". Big ovation for that.

I watched FOX too. The I took a Tylenol PM so I could get my 8 hours of sleep which I've been trying to force myself to get.

I don't like most award shows. MTV music awards are ok, I guess.

I know what movies I liked this year, for example. Maybe every once in a while I'll hear about a movie which won a bunch of awards and I'll go check it out because of that - if it seems like something I'd like.

I remember watching the game live on TV. I did not know much about hockey, but I knew it was important on a geo-political level. It was a great game.

I will see the movie, probably when it gets to DVD!

USA! USA! USA!

Was 1980 some kind of special year?
