Why are there hardly ever any introduce yourself threads on adult webmaster boards?

I always feel it's nice just to say hi before you start posting otherwise it's a bit like just butting in on someone elses conversation. So - hi all!

Anyway, a great site and I look forward to reading all (most? some?) the posts before I start replying!

Ummm....good point.

I did actually make a post in another thread that gave the dirt but I don't suppose twice hurts.

Been in the adult business about 18 months so still fairly new to it I guess. I make a living out of it so I can't complain but it took me a number of sites before I "got it right". I guess that's similar to a number of people in this game.

I'm always surprised by just how hard this business is. I've run other businesses in the past and, when you start, you think it will be easy to sit at home on your fat arse and look at porn all day! Of course we all know about the fourteen or sixteen hour days and just how much promo work you need to do to make it work. We don't all have huge budgets now do we!

Anyway, lately I've taken to shooting my own content and have managed to combine a hobby with my business. Makes good financial sense as well and you get the exact content you want. My recommend to board members would be - start shooting your own stuff if you can ;)
