Geeze, watching the news and stuff, it's amazing how much worse everyone south and east of me got hammered! We've had NO rain today and it hasn't gone below 40 degrees at all - not even overnight. And I'm supposed to live in the "winter weather" area of the state!

I love bad weather (and good weather, hehe) and we got nothin'. :(

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE bright sunny days. But today was just cloudy and boring. Everyone else got an ice storm. :okthumb:

In the 3 years I've lived here, this is only the 2nd time we've had better weather than Atlanta. A couple of years ago they got 7 inches of snow and we got nothing. :( But what you have to realize is that ANYTHING cold weather related here is over in a day or so. It's fun (to me) for those few days. :)

(I have now jinxed myself, and I'll have a massive ice storm just in my yard, a tree will fall into my house and block the driveway....... :unsure: )

Weather is crap in Charlotte.. ice storm. Wife went on a short errand yesterday, only made it about a half mile before she had a one car accident. She is fine. It was a slow speed accident in a throw away car so no harm. Cell phone service is off and on around here and I told her if she had any problems to call me and I would come find her. The phone rang one time and I never heard a word but I knew something had happened. Tried to get one car out of the garage and couldn't.. slight incline pulling out of the garage.. car wouldn't make it. Changed cars and got out of the garage with some effort. Had nice old man with a tractor pull the car out of the ditch. haha..

I live in a strange world.. wife's grandfather has cows. Baby cow was born yesterday and almost froze to death. Baby couldn't stand up and momma cow couldn't feed it. He found it and has been looking after it.. not doing well. Wife volunteered to keep the little bull and nurse him back to health. We now have a baby bull in our garage and my wife is bottle feeding him. Very strange world.

18 inches of snow since Saturday. 8-10 more on the way starting tomorrow. I love my little winter wonderland but I can't wait to get to Florida in a few weeks. B)
