That's right, the average Iraqi was better off under Hussein....

Man, I don't think there's been a presidential campaign in my life where a frontrunner buried himself this damned fast.

he's just playing the only cards he has to play

:)

an irony about Dean is that he is no less abrasive, bizarre and "fuck you if you don't like it" than Bush is. he is simply the other side of the same coin.

How would you know what the average Iraqi's standard of living is like now?

How would Howard Dean know?

3 improvments I know of. Sale of satelitte dishes, internet access, and over 200 newspapers.

I am not sure of the status of the execution and torture chambers, nor the rape hosues. Anyone have any idea on these?

So the average Iraqi now has satellite television, internet access and hundreds of newspapers to choose from?

:D :D

I'd be surprised if they actually have clean water.

One must assume that luxury items such as sat and net access follow behind the basics.

But since I am not on the ground, I do not know 100%. There has no been any reported breakouts of mass illnesses that come from lack of clean water, and seweage. Nor any reports on epic starvation.

From what I understand the North and South of the country has been upgrading their infrastructure pretty well.

After all Halliburton has to justify there billion $$ contracts with something....

Like I said. At least Hussein made the trains run on time.

"Peace in our time," right Joe?

I love the left.
