You know, I have never had a sip of coffee in my life, but I have had chocolate milk at Starbucks, and it's not that good at all.

I like Starbucks. I am not a big coffee drinker, I prefer Capcinos... I need the milk.

I do appreciate their marketing and business plan though. It is the American way!

Venti (uh, I mean large) Cafe Mocha.

I like Starbucks. The WiFi that almost all the stores have works very well so it's nice to be able to get out of the office, have a latte, and still be able to take care of business. I do wish they served sandwiches or something besides sweets.

Coffee and grass is the only substances that I indulge in so I'm a hyper freak who forgets things a lot, what was this thread about again…

I am a hot chocolate person..there's is decent. However, the place I used to go to that made geat hot chocolate was bought out by them when they came over the UK and hence no more great hot chocolate.

That's fucking funny.

I'm a coffee freak. Cuban coffee rules (it's good to be in Miami). Been cutting back though.

Starbucks is fine. I'd rather have a coffee by a huge corporation that one from one of those cute little coffee houses run by hippies.

I'm getting hooked on chai, but I have to make it myself if I want it often. (pout)

Yes! peaches at onlinebeach dot com - thanks! :) I have a recipe or two, but I think I'll probably end up buying the Indian spiced black tea and just adding milk and sugar (or soy milk and Splenda.....). I'm SO lazy! :D

But that is not true. Some Starbucks are better then others. Sometimes it comes down to the employee.... this always amazed me. I would like them to be more consistent.

Where I live you the only cappucino you can get is at the conveniece store out of a machine.

I am a coffee lover and an expert using the mr.coffee espresso machine. If you love espresso/cappucinos you have to get one of these machines. It is so simple and delicious. I think I might make the best cappuccino in the world. :stout:

A secret....

Waffle House is actually another dimension, not an actual physical place...

No matter what door you go in through, no matter what town or state you are in, you end up in the same Waffle House... with the same counter, booths and the same three waitresses.... The old pro, the cute young one and the middle aged one.....

But like I said, it's a secret, so don't tell anyone....

Not to mention the breakfast steaks that cover your plate,
but are as thin as your napkin... talk about shaving!

Ahhhh but the hashbrowns... Doubled, covered, smothered,
diced, and peppered... :P

If you ask nicely, they will give you a Waffle House hat as well. The kind the cooks use. Very stylish!

Ah ha ha ha ha

I love it!!!

The only thing worse is getting stuck in line between two idiots that want to take 5 minutes to make up their little minds about what "type" of coffee to have

It's a beverage, not a life decision - have a fucking cup of coffee flavored coffee and get the out of my way .... NOW -

and forget the haiku reading, trying so hard to be trendy with the worst hair you've ever seen clown behind the counter

(I swear this really happened to me recently, 2 women went on about whether they should get the chocolate cherry crappa rappa frappa mocha "Oh we're on vacation , let's try it - I'm thinking you're in a coffee bar in a bookstore in a mall - what kind of vacation is that?)

Did you ever notice most Americans are ok if you take your drugs in liquid form?

Caffeine in coffee and alcohol

I'm not sure if it's different in the states, if they use a different coffee or what, but down here, starbucks is incredibly overrated. The coffee they use is shit to begin with, and it's made by people that should never be let near an espresso machine. They pack the grind too hard and it's always bitter.

I have noticed tha the quality of the food at Waffle House had really gone downhill. Funny thing is, I began to notice that deterioration right about the time I noticed that White Castles weren't a food group, and that once could go entire weeks without Taco Bell.

Oddly enough, both happened shortly after I quit drinking. Of course, I'm sure there is no connection ....

I love Starbucks coffee ... but did part of that cat's schtick (tall? wtf is that? grande = medium on what fucking planet? etc.) the first time some dumbass barely post-pubescent overpierced trendy little twerp corrected me when I ordered. I think I made him cry.

Starbucks is fine. I'd rather have a coffee by a huge corporation that one from one of those cute little coffee houses run by hippies.

Given my choice, I'll go to the little guy before I go to a factory outlet. That being said,I don't do "cute", and most of the coffee houses I've been to run by people who pass themselves off as hippies have been miserable failures with lousy coffee.

Yup, they got me too...

Venti White Chocolate Mocha if it's cold out.

Venti Mocha Coconut Frappucino for a cold drink.

And the hotspot seals the deal, good place to get high speed on the road or just scare the purple haired earth dogs that hang out there by surfing really freaky porn sites while having your coffee.

I like their regular coffee, but NOT their decaf; and, as you can tell by my fatso stomach, I like their pastries--a LOT!!!!

One thing I don't like is the way students tie up their tables for hours and hours sipping one coffee and using the Internet--it's really bad at the four Starbucks stores near me where UCSD (San Diego) students hog up the space.

I also hate the outside smokers--it's like running a gauntlet to get past the second hand smoke into the place; or, having a gorgeous young lady speak to me with yukky smoker's breath--now days, one need condoms AND breath mints in case sex happens:-)))
