I think our hardware expert is out of pocket.
My guess setting up for Weds festivities.
Ill see if I cant get her to come help you out.
She gave me great advice on my cam.
That cannon digital rebel is what I shot with at the show.

that seems waay underpriced....
and I can't find any of em anywhere else on the web or on ebay.
if you get one and it's not a piece of shit let me know :)
....however my next camera I think I have to get one that has the rapid-shot feature, where it takes like 3-4 pictures in a second in case of any blinkers or if the flash is too strong in that particular picture.

I haven't done anything extreme on my new nicks and am not planning on it, so you can relax.

I have a couple canon 2 megapixels, and new sony 5 megapixel. IMHO, anything over 2 is overkill unless you plan on making print photos over 8x10. A 5 megapixel images is about 2 megs, overkill for most things.

Yea 2 and 4 printed out looks the same, but on pc I can tell the difference between my current 4mp and my old 2mp.
With prices today might as well go 4+, poor folk excluded.

I ended up buying

I am suspicious of the low price

That 6mp camera had no optical zoom at all. no manual mode, etc...
it just had a big megapixel number and that impresses people.
