View Full Version : South Florida webmasters get-together .. tonight!

Almighty Colin

I don't know what we're doing yet .. but ... Serge, I and whomever else is interested are getting together somewhere in South Florida to do something. ;-) Pretty vague, eh? Starting with dinner. Any suggestions?

This is the rite of passage whereas everyone gets together to usher me back into the single life.

So say if you're going and make some recommendations. I'm up for anything.

Almighty Colin

Serge,

You're in Boca and I'm in South Miami. Somewhere in between?

Anyone know a Japanese Steakhouse in North Miami?

Still open to suggestions though.

Colin, Serge - have you ever been to a Russian club together?
Is there one convenient to you?

Can tell you from first hand knowledge a trip to Russian club with Serge is a good time

When I went to meetings and heard all the evils drinking brings , I immediately resolved to quit attending meetings,

I'm from North Miami. There are some really great places. I already have company but would love to attend a WM GT in South Florida- even Tampa area since I'm only tow hours to Tampa or do something out here and have the West and East coast meet.

Just better leave my goats alone! <wink>

There's a great Thai resturant off 163 and Dixie. I can't remember the name. maybe Cleo knows.

I'm more of a Las Olas girl myself, but a South Florida get together would be nice.

I honestly I can't remember a restaurant at 163 and Dixie, but it has been awhile since I've lived or even been in Miami. Back when I lived in Miami I would often go to the Jewish deli Corky's, but they moved to Hollywood some time ago.

Sorry to hear it Serge - my condolences... it's those sudden "out of the blue" ones that get you the most.

My father-in-law was the same way. Was building a new shed in the backyard on the weekend, passed away after driving from Houston to New Orleans and back Tuesday night (he was a Greyhound Bus Driver). Heathly as a horse, then a massive surprise heart attack. It's hard to get your mind around that he's gone... :cryin:

When you guys DO get this South Florida thing going, I know my boss Benjamin over @ SexMoney would love to get in on it. He'll be @ the Ft. Lauderdale office for a few more weeks before they head back to Germany - I know he enjoyed himself when he came for dinner @ your home awhile back.

Again, so sorry for your loss....

Making up stories on GFY that nobody believes makes you money?

Or does it make you look like the sad old pathetic washed up board whore has been you really are? Does Mike pay you for this?

So let me get this straight, you want people from GFY to come here and discover you are bullshitting them? And that makes you money?

You should post on GFY more, I love watching the newbs mock you.
