Umm I was never a mod, though in the early 80's I caught the tail end of punk, the first time around. None of that sped up Blink 182 bubblegum "Come on Eileen" cover shit- more like BlackFlag, Bad Religion, Stooges, Flipper, Fear, Germs, HR, Deadbolt, Misfits, Cramps...
