did you ever read all the books by Patrick McManus? "A fine and pleasant misery" and so on.

I used to have them all when i was little and read them quite a bit. I was in a book store the other day and felt the urge to buy a few to read on the plane. I forgot how funny they were. Everyone on the plane kept staring at me as i laughed with this sort of sypathetic and confused look, probably guessing that I was a well dressed retard or drunk or all of the above.

If you have not read any of them, you would enjoy them i think.

JR, no I did not, but I will pick it up and see how I like it.

When I saw the angry smilie I was not sure what to expect and I still don't.

I guess maybe after reading the book(s) it will become more clear?? ;-))

Done. :D

Obviously, the boards are not the greatest way to get me. hehe

Since they ARE a good way to get me, feel free to use me as a middlewoman (and NOT in the way you pervs are thinking of.....) B)

Back to the top, those books look good, JR! I'll let Wig buy one and then I'll borrow it. Another LOL writer is David Sedaris.

hehe. sorry, i just enjoy being strange at times. i think i was not loved enough as a child.

the books are about him growing up and hunting, camping, fishing etc. he is/was a writer for Field and Stream. the books are very funny. I forgot how funny he was. Since you are into hunting and outdoors, i thought you would enjoy them.
