Some interesting things went down in Vegas last week....... and everyone thinks terrorism is a problem... that wasn't the half of it .....hahahahaa

First of all... Gillardi (owner of Cheetahs) was again all over the news. He was up on charges for bribing state officials in California - he had pleaded guilty & was thinking about changing his plea.

On Friday night - the feds showed up at Binions Horeshoe & closed it down for taxes. They conficated 1.9 million. The owners had tax liens from unpaid employee witholding.

On Sat. morning about 7am when we were leaving - we had to detour the strip. It was completely closed from Belligo to Tropicanna. A hit man (they think from Pittsburg) had killed a man on the street in front of Belligos & evidentally got away. They had the whole area sealed for CSI.

So where is Tanner when you need him? ( you have to be over 40 to know what I am talking about) hahahahaha

JimmyD reports:

As you might already know, I was tossed out of Binion’s Horseshoe Hotel and Casino--along with a bunch of other people--by the Feds. I was walking through the casino, minding my own fucking business, when the U.S. Marshals came storming in grabbing the cash and closing everything. If you want to read more about this incident, here's an Associated Press story that ran on some Seattle website. I'm told the AP story also ran in about every major newspaper in the county. Oh yeah, yours truly is quoted in the article. And just so ya know, I had a whole lot more to say to that reporter than the one, lame fucking line they quoted me on. Maybe if I had cleaned up my mouth when I was talking to her more of what I said would have been reported. Who knows, right?

The worst that happened to me is some fucking idiot at the Round Bar offered me cocaine and I told him to fuck right the fuck off. By the time I came back he was gone, but he wasn't wearing a tag. I wish I'd had his name to give security. Other than that we had it pretty easy (then again though I slept a lot and couldn't do much walking etc).

Every realtive asked me if I saw Britney get married.

Oh and my husband swears up and down he saw a guy and a girl doing lines on the convention floor but not being in the biz really he didn't know who they were...classy. Atleast go to the bathroom.

In spite of the soap operas that go one there, I feel very safe in Vegas..... at least in the Casions or the strip. I have been there by myself on several occasions. There is more security there than most large cities have on their police rosters. Someone is watching all the time. Never had an incident...........

During New Years, there were hundreds of agents walking around carrying suitcases with explosive indicators inside.

We got a strange phone call at about 4am one morning from "EXTRA", the television show.

Apparently my wife has the same first and last name of a close friend of Britney Spears. The woman on the phone wanted any or all information Stephanie could give her about the impromptu wedding the day before...
