View Full Version : PPS vs. Revshare vs. ?
then what's next? any ideas? Good post in the ccbill thread by you - quite aptly illustrating the shift that WILL take place in the PPS model as the market dries it self out - so what do we do next? anyone??
Some of the PPS are either working on something or thinking about the changes they have to make - we have already seen a few glimpse of what the future will bring.
I think when people have returned from Internext, and had some time to reflect about "state of the industry", then we will know how soon these new changes will be here.

Kill cross sells and shaving amongst a few other things, and the per-signup model won't survive in it's current state.
If you have a good site and full price joins the affiliate can make just as much .. if not more from revshare. However good luck getting the big guys to send traffic ... they all like to see a statement of power first.

My opinion...
If you have to cheat in ANY way, you need to change something. Y'know, reputation DOES count for something. There are lots of sponsors around that I refuse to do business with because they have had probs. There are two that were so bad that Greenguy won't list sites sponsored by them.
Cross sells aren't cheating, just good business.
