24 degrees?! I know this is nothing for you Northerners (even Peaches and Wig are Northerns to me) but ... what's a Miamian to do?

Hahaha,

MarcDe just called, he got to his house last night and said he awoke to 2 inches of snow this morning, meanwhile in the snowbelt of Michigan we've got nada and it's 35 here.

Is that an offer to buy? :)

A little hint from my childhood - they make great "sleds" for sliding down the stairs. :P (thank goodness my mother and grandmother don't read this board....)

I thought Floridians wore heavy coats at 60? :)

Maybe GonZo will have mercy and let ya borrow his coat.

Yes it's been freaky cold in the desert this year - we hit 26 degrees out here by Palm Springs over the weekend. If we'd had any precipitation I'm sure we would have had some snow too. Rain storms are coming in now, but it's heated up to a high of 50 today. *brrrrrrr* Think I'll stay inside.

Hey.... we don't get to test out our heaters or use our fireplaces often. I am *not* complaining. Now I can use those slipper socks my kids got me for XMas.

lol.... what's funny is I can remember growing up in NW Ohio and begging my mom to let us go swimming... she said "not till it hits 70 degrees!" We were sweating... 65 was HOT after those '76 & '78 blizzards.

Now... in So. Cal where it rarely dips down below 75 we start putting on sweaters & jeans when it gets 70 or less... it was 45 last night at about 8pm and I saw a girl at the grocery store dressed like she was going skiing - she had the mittens, the scarf, the earmuffs - the whole 9 yards. I was cold - but THAT was ridiculous!

It was about freezing the other night in Charlotte.. I went to the video store in shorts, t-shirt, sandals... and a leather coat. I told the girl at the counter to ignore the fashion statement.

Snowing in Seattle today too, which is fairly unusual.

Damn, I was looking forward to relatively "warm" weather in Vegas.

LOL Bishop, Shok's been dressing like that for years!!

Actually got down to 32 here in Phoenix the other nite, and it hasn't been that cold since 1990. But no snow here...

Saw plenty in Utah last week, I dont think I've ever been in a storm that dropped 3 feet of snow in 24 hours on anything.

The weather in Vegas is about the same as it is in Charlotte so I should feel right at home. I'll leave the sandals and shorts at home though..

Utah? 3 feet in 24 hours? Oh that would be a blast! Bring out the snowmobiles!

Hahaha, they did and it took me about ten minutes to take the drive shaft out on one of them. Damn things looked like they should have cleared the ditch no problem, not flipped over and quit going into gear ;)

Blizzard of '93 in Syracuse, NY. Over 6' in about 12 hours or less. Endend up with about 8 1/2 feet total if I remember correctly.

That line to get into the Player's Ball is gonna be cold since the entrance to the club is OUTSIDE.

But the weather is not D-Money's fault...
