I'm with DirectNic for years now, but ppl give me shit for paying too much :o

Who offers the same service (like dns records configuration etc..) for lower prices?

Who are you with?

ps. I know bestest is not a real word, next time I'll use more gooder :hic:

DirectNic IS the best! :zoinks:

They have quantity discounts which can bring your costs down significantly. My renewal dates are scattered all over (blame it on late night surfing and all those "great" plans for registering domains :awinky: ), but I just make sure I renew them in bulk and get the lower prices. :)

They're ICANN approved instead of having to go through a third party and BEST of all, rumor has it you can get in touch with one or two of the owners VERY quickly. :okthumb:

i prefer directnic because of the features but i have several hundred domains at register.com and the thing that some people hate (the auto renew) is the very reason i like it.. i dont want to have to mess with my domains.

directnic... one thing they do that i friggin LOVE.. is the ability to change contacts/dns servers etc on a group of domains at once. god that is a time saver.

That would be a minus for me these days as I'm letting go of many of the "late night purchases" when it's time to renew. :okthumb:

Naughty, you will alway be able to find cheaper prices then DirectNIC, but you will not get the customer support and other benefits. It is expensive running 24/7 live customer support with a trained staff ( that is not in India!)

Thanks for all the support guys and gal! :D

This was DirectNIC's best year. As poorly as adult is doing, is how well DirectNIC is going. Sig is definately the best CEO I know of, and the rest of the staff is top notch as well!!

I always walk a little taller, stick my chest out a little farther when talking about DirectNIC!!

Mike, I'm very happy with DirectNic, no complaints on my end. Never needed the support staff though, yet.

15$ on todays exchange rate is a bargain anyway :P

haha, this is where I get the feeling of being small time around these folks who own massive 250+ domains: I own about 16 or so at DN. I have several Dutch ones too, but they're at Dutch providers obviously.

directNIC kicks ass

free IP forwarding / directDNS is the only thing they dont offer.
