Past 2 nights we have been baking cookies to give away to maid, yard guy, security guys, etc. Cooked 350+ cookies, hard work. Laura has been wrapping all my Chanukah gifts while I bake.

I am exhausted! Next year, I think I will go buy them and say we cooked them!

Truth is that I ate them all! Talk about a stomach ache.

Now I understand what they say about gaining a few lbs. over the holidays. To counter act the evil force of holiday food, I start with a personal trainer tomorrow. I need to get slim like chris! Although I am at my lowest weight in 10 years, he calls be fat daily!

It is very nice.

I don't like the white cupboards on one side of the kitchen and the mahogany other though. :)

I wonder if any of the cookies are errr "special" cookies

Also...I consider giving CASH.

Or your house will be untidy , your yard full of weeds , and your house robbed ;-)))

Yeah a little cash will go a long way to make sure that none of your shit turns up missing and/or broken! ;)

Serge - It was the day after I made fun of someone who was balding that MY hair decided to start "thinning"... and that was when I was fucking 19 years old!!

KC,
you know what they say...
the less hairs on the head,
the more estrogen,
the more the sex drive...

why do you think women like bald guys?
;-))))

Winetalk.com

BTW,
this estrogen and sex drive has a side effect:
increased risk of prostate cancer...
ask Eve to check it regulary

Mr. Shaw was complaing that he was bored, so I put him to work. I dont think he'll ever make that same mistake again ;)))

Oh and Nick, the darker cabinets are at the lakehouse. We went up there this weekend. The lighter cabinets are here at home.

Yep.. and 6 months ago I went back to work in a mad effort to run from the ever growing honey do list. The straw that broke the camels back was when my wife thought it was a great idea for me to paint a 3,000 sf barn. It all started when I said I was bored one day.. and she suggested I help her make cookies.

Thats how it starts.

They don't want cookies - they want CASH! And if you give them both, they'll trash the cookies and keep the cash. :P

My hub got out of taking out the trash as soon as he could - that's what KIDS are for. :awinky:

As soon as our son could reach the top of the trash can and open the lid, Daddy lost his last domestic-related job. Gardeners for the landscaping, pool guy for the pool, repair guys for everything else - Daddy just goes to work now, comes home and enjoys.

And cookies? Must be a "honeymooning" thing - I don't think I've ever asked hub to help out in the kitchen - that's MY domain!

But Brad does get :okthumb: :okthumb: for cookie baking... looks like you're doing a GREAT job! (good training Shawcutie!!!) I think "the help" will be impressed that you did it yourself.

I am the chef of the family. She is still learning.

How do you think I got so fat? When I lived alone, I used to bake and cook big feasts all the time!

I'm just happy when my hub can throw a few steaks on the grill or whip up some grilled cheese for the kids when I'm busy - lol

You guys are such wusses - taking the trash to the cans and the cans to the curb is a breeze.

I have to take MY trash to the front of the subdivision (about a mile away - yes, I drive :P ) and the big stuff to the dump where I have to argue with the guy every time that I'm NOT a business so he won't charge me! :headwall:

(oh, and for those wondering, I'm doing all this 10 miles uphill in the snow - wanted to make sure I got all my pity points in. :cryin: )

Even I will give you some points there Brad!! Ya can't beat a man who can cook ... and cooking with your partner is better than foreplay!!!

(well ... it kinda is foreplay if you get the chocolate and .... uh oh, i got a visual ... i'd better stop)

Definitely a good catch - men who can cook (and well, at that!) are awesome to have around!
Now if I can just get mine to take out the trash *every* night... hey Brad do you offer Domestication 101 courses? :P
