Why do Arabs shoot their guns into the air?

You always see these dumb asses firing their guns in joy straight up in the air over massive crowds of people. Don't they know the bullets come back down from the sky?

In Kirkuk alone, today, so many people were firing AK-47's in the air that the bullets coming down killed 8 people and wounded over 80 others.

It's a South of the Border tradition too... one of the guys who used to work in our office when I was in the LA area lived down in Santa Ana and it got so bad there at New Year's and Cinco de Mayo that he just planned his vacations around the holidays so that he and his family wouldn't be home during the celebratory shootings. lol The other "tradition" was to repair the roof the following weekend.

Hopefully he moved... NOT someplace I'd be happy living. :unsure:

I think there were 8 hit and two killed in St. Louis one year just before I moved ... between the gangbangers and the methheads it got real interesting on New Years Eve (and on some Friday nights).

That is why I now have parties at my house. Used to go downtown, and the 10 minutes before and after mindight would stand inside.
