Windows 98 joins Windows 95 and 3.1 in the Microsoft graveyard next month. No more support, patch releases, etc.

Amazingingly, 20% of the world's computer users still use Windows 95 and Windows 98.

Expect to see MSFT stock rise as a result, with all these users being nudged now into upgrading to XP.

They had support? I didn't have to figure all that stuff out myself? Chingado! :biglaugh:

I still have 98 on my laptop and my second computer. :( Of course, I've never gotten support from MS for either, but still - it gives me something to complain about today. :P

Ahh, that's not just tech support, that's code support, which means that program is going into retirement with no further updates to make it work with future apps.
