Joe Francis Roughed Up By MGM Security (Video)

Someone jumped into the MGM Grand fish tank as a publicity stunt. Joe Francis, of Girls Gone Wild, was standing nearby when it happened and security assumed he was linked to the stunt and pounced on him to arrest him.

Strangely enough Paris Hilton was standing there also. Hmmm . . .

What's funny is he has top player status at the MGM and gets use of the Penthouse suite. The guards on duty apparently didn't know who he was.

Yeh, they intervied the lawyer and he went to town on the MGM with charges of false imprisonment, assault, etc. He ended his statement by saying, "let's put it this way, its going to cost MGM more than a basket of fruit delivered to Joe's room to settle this suit."

I've generally found the security folx in Vegas do not just tackle someone for no reason.

There's another side to this. I've gotta wonder what he was saying or doing while the dork was in the fish tank to trigger the beat down. My hunch is he did or said something stupid....it wouldn't be the first time.

I hate over zealous and arrogant security guards and bouncers.

I never forget a mate of mine who was the victim of security at a nightclub, and he kept throwing the security guys around :) it was classic. He was a member of the SAS and could kill with his bare hands.

Thats my guess too... no way they are going to RANDOMLY pick HIM out of a group to tackle, unless something provoked them....

Security guards as a rule, suck...

Security Guards in Vegas are controlled, and dont act rashly, OR as a rule, without guidance from the eye in the sky....
