OK I am looking for ideas for unique Christmas gifts.

For Katie, and my parents.

Any ideas? Budget of $150 - $200 or so....


I picked up a bunch of old school wooden blocks for my nephews. I used to love them. I think they will enjoy them, and it will stimulate creativity.

Most will not straight up offer it, the bleating from the public is strong when they see that kind of thing for sell. But most of the bigger dealers online that sell the creme of the crop whackjobs art have some seriously strange shit they dont put online. And you can pick it up for what I think is fairly cheap, lots of interesting pieces in the 20 to 50$ range. Its been awhile and I dont remember the guys email that I got mine from off hand, if I can find it or remember it, I will icq it to you.

I dont giggle at it, the shit straight gives me the creeps. That such an insignificant looking doodle or sketch, put into the proper context, can turn into a macabre object that will illicit such an ugly response from most people. Most probably just think I got bad taste in art, I dont have the shit in my dining room. If you came into my house, you would think a member of eastern orthodox clergy lived there.
