parties are just classier and more fun.

we're doing a fun laid back get drunk talk shit party on the 4th for both of the two big bowl games. we're not sure about location yet and we're looking for other sponsors but right now we're leaning towards a strip club with lots of big screens, free food & booze. that kinda thing.

then on the 5th from 10pm-1am we're throwing what i'm calling a "party for grown ups" at the vbar. good music, you can actually hear the people you're talking to, and the martini's will flow for free ;-)

But yes... nobody with a brain is throwing any more megaparties. we threw the $100k blowout in miami with topbucks last year and the returns didnt justify the party.

Anybody looking to get some branding for the football party, hit me up!

Some of the best "parties" I've gone to were small deals with good friends and colleagues where we could chat, have dinner, network a bit - maybe *gasp* even get some business taken care of besides. Invite only deals sound like a great way to avoid the typical BS. :okthumb:
