Besides, a lawsuit can be filed by anyone and for any reason in CA. Everyone knows that. IMO, more laws get passed in CA by the courts than by the legislature...

BTW, did you know that the reason the Dems hated Nixon so much was because Nixon nailed Alger Hiss?

It's already been proven that the information they gave out was FALSE and that she wasn't a felon. How hard is that for you to comprehend? BUT - she had the exact same name. How possible is it that Arnold's team didn't know that it was a different person?

If they didn't, and they found out later, they should have put out an apology.
If they did know right off the bat, then they deserve to be sued for slander.

True, but Torone was dismissing the ladies claims outright and trying to pass it off as being just a bogus lawsuit. There is ZERO doubt that the Arnie camp gave out false information. All that needs to be determined is whether they deliberately gave out the wrong information.

TE, get with the program ... you're using logic from reality, and we're talking Torone here.

Arnie is a Republican. Yeah, he's a RINO, and not nearly Republican enough, and he's married to a Kennedy - but he's still a Republican.

Therefore, dismissing the claims as lies outright is appropriate, because anyone not to the right of Ann Coulter saying anything bad about a Republican - even a RINO - is obvioiusly a lie designed to help the Demmacommies floridate our water, take away our guns, force people into interracial homosexual relationships, force the designated hitter rule and metal bats into the National League, and deny us the right to periodically go bomb small brown people.

Actually, my friend, you have to admit that the way a lot of Republicans carry on today is more than a little reminiscent of the way Democrats continued to carry on about Nixon long after he went back to San Clemente.
