You are the first american i've come across who has heard cigarettes called fags!!!!!
I remember saying 'pass me a fag' a few times at conventions (extremely classy line!) and getting some really wierd looks!!!!

we used to have little candy versions of cigarettes (with red candy for flame & everything!) but after the 80's they renamed everything offensive so candy 'fags' became 'fads', noddy & his red car wasn't allowed to be 'gay' anymore & gollywogs are just 'dolls' now ...
