You ever have one of those days?

Business is going triple time, you're working 20 hours a day like a monkey on crystal meth, your phone rings off the hook, icq is going non stop and projects come in faster than you can possibly handle them... then poof. like the eye of a storm.. everything goes silent.

Here are 3 things I did today:

I actually had our admin check the email server twice to make sure it was working and made employees send me e-mails to make sure i was getting all my email.

I've called myself twice to make sure my phone is working.

I've sent numerous icq's & aim's to close friends asking "just respond if you get this" to make sure that im' not somehow offline when i think i'm online.

hahaha... some people would call it peaceful.. it just freaks me out cause i know the other shoe is gonna drop!

LOL yeah that happens from time to time. The problem is we get so used to being pumped up all the time that when the slow down hits we start looking for something to do instead of enjoying the break :D
