I just started on 'The Haunted Flat,' and so far, very, very good. Love it so far.

and I can't wait to get to 'A Duel between Professor and Poet'

I read this book the first time in one sitting!

couldn't pull myself away from it!

it was prohibitted in Russia, it wasn't published and I read it in typing machine written format!

Kinda like me and Milton's Paradise Lost, this is a very good read, dark and humorous even.

How do you like the description of the menu of Griboedov restaurant?

when I read it in the 70's,
MOST of the dishes described back in the 3oth were un heard of in the 70!

took spanish in highschool, deal with non english speaking mexicans daily and can barely order a beer in spanish
